When a group of high school seniors heard their principal was diagnosed with a rare, aggressive form of cancer, they made a generous senior class gift. It wasn’t a gift to the school or used to go on the senior class trip they had planned on. Instead their senior class gift donated nearly $8000 toward her medical care.
“We decided to not go on our senior class trip this year and donate all of our funds to [her] cause,” said Ian Baker.
The principal never thought that their senior class gift would benefit her. “They are a pretty remarkable, fun, and astonishing group of people,” she said.
